Tournament each February with teams travelling from Valemount, Prince George, and Grande Cache to compete. Money raised and canned goods collected at during the tournament are donated to the local foodbank.

Formerly known as the annual Veneer Kings Hockey, the renamed Buck Hockey Invitational Tournament sees current and past McBride residents converge on the village for a weekend of reminiscing with a bit of hockey thrown in.
This mixed tournament winds-down the curling season with lots of laughs and some curling thrown in for good measure.
