• Old-Timers Hockey Tournament

    Robson Valley Recreation Centre 441 Columbia Street

    Tournament each February with teams travelling from Valemount, Prince George, and Grande Cache to compete. Money raised and canned goods collected at during the tournament are donated to the local foodbank.

Thursday, March 12 - 7pm-9pm at the McBride Hotel Bar Friday, March 13 - 10am-12pm at Lucille Mountain Riding Area (trail fees in effect) Made possible by Avalanche Canada, Halo Contracting Ltd., McBride Big Country Snowmobile Association, and McBride Tourism.

    Formerly known as the annual Veneer Kings Hockey, the renamed Buck Hockey Invitational Tournament sees current and past McBride residents converge on the village for a weekend of reminiscing with a bit of hockey thrown in.

    This mixed tournament winds-down the curling season with lots of laughs and some curling thrown in for good measure.
