Tournament each February with teams travelling from Valemount, Prince George, and Grande Cache to compete. Money raised and canned goods collected at during the tournament are donated to the local foodbank.
Teams from all over the region compete in themed costumes for coveted prizes and bragging rights!
The annual Veneer Kings Hockey tournament in February sees current and past McBride residents converge on the village for a weekend of reminiscing with a bit of hockey thrown in.
This mixed tournament winds-down the curling season with lots of laughs and some curling thrown in for good measure. The very active McBride Curling Club has leagues for both juniors and adults as well as their annual Ladies’ Bonspiel in February and Men’s Bonspiel in March. On Facebook? Check us out here!

One of the Robson Valley's premier social events held at the Dunster Community Hall at the end of June, featuring all you can eat potluck desserts and ice cream. Adults $10, Children 5-12 $6, and children under 5 free Dance to follow! Everyone welcome.
